Shailesh Shirali
Vice Chairman, Special Sits
Shailesh Shirali is Vice Chairman and heads the Special Sits vertical at Everstone. Shailesh is based in Mumbai, India. Before moving to Everstone in July 2020, Shailesh headed the Wholesale Credit business at Everstone investee companies Indostar Capital and Future Capital, where he successfully started and built a very profitable high-yield credit business. Before this, Shailesh headed the Wholesale Credit and Structured Finance business at Merrill Lynch and Rabobank India. Shailesh started his career at ICICI in 1993 where, he was the founding member of the Credit Risk Department. Shailesh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
